On 8 and 9 March 2021 we had a valuable online lecture by Mrs. Rūta Jašinskienė on the topic of Analysis Challenges in the Digital Age. The 43 participants got a good insight into the process and analysis.
The students got to learn about data management and analytical methods, such as crime/situational pattern analysis, network analysis, chart’s analysis, comparative case analysis, demographic/social trend analysis, market profiles, risk analysis, and target profile analysis.
Summing up, the lecturer pointed out that it was not only important to know that there are cognitive errors, but to try to avoid them, and to always apply as wide a range of analytical methods and techniques as possible. It is very important to keep in mind that analysis is about drawing conclusions and helping make decisions.
